The pilot window on the A5 has so many fingerprints, smears, specks and scratches that I can hardly see out of it if the sun is coming from the passenger side. I supposed that’s supposed to be “realism” but it’s not realistic that I’d be flying a $400,000 aircraft and wouldn’t even bother to ever clean the windows.
Have you ever seen those windows in real life? Lol. The cheap plexi they use is hilarious compared to glass in the auto industry. One cleaning , its scratched up.
Thanks for saying that. I too find all the worn and dirty components in the aircraft off-putting. I purchase used stuff but the first thing I do (after ensuring they mechanically sound) is to clean them and make them look like new.
Some of the aircraft have mods which fix these things. I use a mod to get clear glass in the Carenado Ovation. By the way there’s another mod to get good seats/carpeting because the default stuff is worn and disgusting
There is a reason for aircraft plastic windows: glass generates static which creates problems.
And less glare than glass, and half the density than glass, and shatter resistant
