This was a FSX feature allowing you to move your plane to another location using a drag feature on the map (VFRMap) no way to do it currently. Was really good for setting up an approach etc for training.
Just as in P3D, it’d be nice to be able to move/shift the plane from within the VFR map window.

Yes, just like FS2002, FS2204, FSX, etc.
Have a moving map like in fsx to change the position using the mouse, Select altitude, heading, place into an ils of any airport or runway,etc without going to main menu.

I’ve written a small utility to allow you to do this via SimConnect - copy a Google or LNM location to the clipboard then slew the plane to this location. Let me know if you are interested.

This is a very useful tool in P3D when you want to abbreviate a flight (specially on longhaul). I really miss it in MSFS and would suggest to implement it as well.
Meanwhile I have found this useful tool in MSFS Developer mode, which works fine for the purpose.
