In addition to the fixes some other threads have called for, I’d like to have the ability to tell ATC “unable” if you can’t comply with a direction. An example I’ve had a few times is ATC asking me to go to an altitude higher than the ceiling of the plane I’m flying or to fly into clouds during icing conditions.
Yes, I sometimes have ATC tell me to go-around as I’m decelerating during landing, and the ATC box has no “I already landed, I’m on the ground and now stopped” option.
I would have loved this yesterday when, after nursing the stock A320 appaling AP after the latest upgrade and eventually making it to finals into Oakland and decending through the last 250ft, ATC kept on telling me to expedite the climb to 10,000 ft!
ATC might give ridiculous requests (and this will be always be the case to some degree), so sooner or later there must be an option to tell the ATC to ■■■■, when they’re demanding to climb to 9000ft even after you just landed.
Have ability to respond “unable” when ATC asks you to do something the A/C your flying can’t do. Like requesting a cessna 182 go to fl390, I get that stuff all the time
This is still badly needed with regards to altitude directions… since also FS2024 ATC requests to climb to high altitudes when already approaching the destination airport.
Still badly needed and ignored.
