Hi,
After installing the new PMDG 777-300, I got this when starting up MSFS.
Does anybody know why this happens? What am I supposed to do with this page?
Anything in the manual?
I don’t know the answer, but few things I would start with…
-
Check the documentation for the 777 to see if it advises to expect this i.e. you may need to have certain settings enabled/disabled.
-
Uninstall the 777 to see if the problem persists.
-
Remove/disable everything not directly related to the 777 install from the community folder to rule out some weird conflict.
Which manual are you referring to? It looks like a MSFS issue, not PMDG.
Hi, so after I clicked NEXT on that page, the sim seems to continue to load.
Really strange.
Well as you have just installed the 777 and started seeing this it would be logical to start with 777 manual - or perhaps visit the PMDG forum to see if other people have also reported this…
Hi,
Well the sim eventually loaded, but all my Assistance settings have been reset to default. Some of my Honeycomb Alpha settings have been reset t default as well.
Checking the PMDG manual and their forum to see if I can find something about this.
This is generally temporary problem of sim access,
I think you don’t nned to do any other things. If you did reset all options then maybe wait or ask on Support. If I good remember my same situtuaion ago, waiting some time helped me. On other side, check for sure that Game services you have updated because I’ve discovered this today at the morning, so services has been updated to me.
Probably thats why Simulator Settings, Limitations and Compatibility - PMDG 777 Introduction
or smth is wrong between you and msfs cloud
That looks like a profile wipe to me. Those, plus controller settings getting reset seems to fit.
Some users have reported that shutting the sim down, then logging out then back in to the XBox app has helped with this.
Was there a logbook wipe as well?
Hi,
Thanks for changing the title @Hester40MT !
After shutting and adjusting all my settings I shut down MSFS to update my Navigraph nav data.
Upon restarting MSFS, lo and behold, it is doing it again! The Accessability page is displayed again and all my Assistance settings have been reset again to EASY.
Will now readjust everything one more time, close the sim, and then reboot my computer.
Update: Like so often, rebooting the computer has helped. At least for now.
