Hey guys,
so this happened:
I was presented the opportunity to create my own company and I’ve read up that the Cargo company was the most lucrative at the beginning.
I had 33k saved up but I only had the option to start a flightseeing company, for the Cargo Company there was “no available aircraft for purchase.”
So I thought Cargo was deliberately locked at the beginning.
It turns out I should have just had a little bit more money.
Should I reset the career or should I grind up money to additionally open up a Cargo Company and buy an expensive used cessna?
What do you think will save me more time?
Thanks for the help.

You can get enough for a used 172 fairly quickly doing flightseeing missions if you don’t skip parts. Not skipping basically doubles your income. Flightseeing is one of the fastest ways to get income until you get to private charters or beyond.
You also need the money for a used plane at least, which is about 200k for a cargo company. I had the same issue.
Ha, I thought you could get a used Cargo Cessna for 35-40K?
So there would have not been a chance for this ^^^^^^ anyway?
Thats what I understood from asking people for advice so far.
Your first plane is massively discounted. That’s why you can start your very first cargo company also relatively cheap. Every plane after the first one is way more expensive.
I think grinding sightseeing mission to have enough money will not take you very long. Just make sure to not crash an chose the cheapest insurance because they don’t work right now anyway
I was happy to find this post and realize I was not the only one. I am currently in the exact same dilemma, and on top my only Cessna crashed due to a bug and I am now stuck doing Employee missions (also with bugs) to try and make 80k Cr. to fix my plane. Then I have to grind again to buy a cargo company and another plane, as I also started a flightseeing company by accident, thinking it was the first step everyone had to take. Uff…

I found this post because I am just about to start my first business.
I too can only start a Flight-Seeing bussiness for the same reason. There are no aircraft available for purchase.
So am I correct in thinking, if I just continue to grind missions as an employee, eventually I will be able to start my first company as cargo instead? Flight seeing isn’t really my cup of tea.
