Will this work ok on mid settings.?
I would be extremely surprised if it would run well at all on any setting.
8GB of ram is way too low.
Minimum recommended is 16GB.
Even with 16GB,(which I have) without changing some computer settings, MSFS will lag and stutter in most circumstances.
If you can increase your ram, I don’t think you will have any issues.
I have the same laptop. I upped it to 32GB of ram, when MSFS was 1st released, and it appeared that the more the Ram the better .. that as before X-Box.
Bang for Buck, it is OK, I find it adequate from GA planes, but I am more concerned about the SIMULATION than the eye candy.
I am certainly happy I did not go out and buy a $3000 overpriced Video card, when they were being scalped all over the place, due to low supply,
