Many of us can move only one arm, for any change of parameters we have to release the joystick. The plane drops many feet and sometimes stalls, during the active pause you can’t use the keyboard, so you can’t change parameters, or answer ATC, or anything. Only if you can buy a device with thrust levers, flaps and aerobrakes you can change these parameters

Have you considered something like VoiceAttack? I don’t know that it will do what you want, but there’s a plugin for MSFS and some free profiles that could probably be modified.

I invite you, and everybody to join the alpha test of SimVoice Copilot, a very simple app that can listen you using some preconfigured and totally customizable commands to send events to either MSFS2020 or MSFS2024 using Simconnect, for instance you can map a command like “flaps down” to the correspondent flight simulator event, or query information via Simvars like “check airspeed” and the app will talk with the current IAS… More info and enrol instructions at Participate in the Alpha Test of SimVoice Copilot - Discussion Hub / Tools & Utilities - Microsoft Flight Simulator Forums

Great idea. Even those of us who aren’t as physically restricted would benefit from this. Being in a cockpit that you are familiar with means you can often access controls without looking at them. Active Pause simulates the freedom of movement and control of space that real pilots enjoy.
