Active weather radar on a airbus 320neo?

I know the 747 in the 787 have the setting to turn on radar terrain and all that in the screen to the left of the heights and direction thingy whatever they call that gyroscope anyway does anyone know how to turn that on in A320neo…cause I have no idea

Hi, its easy! You simply have to press this button and set it on radar 1 or 2:

Hpe this can help you!

Is there a control to turn it on for just one display, say first officer only? Right now, it starts showing weather on both displays - pressing the terrain button makes it go away from related display but is there any other way to do it?

The display brightness knob for ND has two rotary selectors, the inner knob control display brightness while the outer knob controls brightness of the “overlay” (either terrain or weather). I don’t know if this works in the sim. I don’t see a reason to use the weather radar though, it is pretty useless as it shows clouds instead of precipitation, small layer of clouds and the whole thing turns red, pretty useless.

It’s working in the A32NX mod. I don’t think it’s working in the default Asobo A320.

That exactly is the reason I was looking for it - clouds simply obscure everything and it becomes very difficult to see the track and any other information.

Then you can just turn the weather radar off? I’m never using it, complete nonsense…

That is what I did and was looking to get around it.
