Activity Menus - Remember previous scroll position when clicking 'Back'

One minor point of MSFS’s otherwise excellent menu system is that you are always returned to the beginning of a menu ‘list’ when clicking “Back” from another screen. This is most frustrating when browsing areas such as the Activity Menus.

Example of how it works now:

  • Open Activity List
  • Open Landing Challenges, choose a category
  • Browse through the list, open a challenge part way down the list to look/read about it
  • Decide that you’d like to look at a different challenge, click “Back”
  • Find yourself back at the top of the Discovery Flight list…
Wishlist = return back to the same position of the list you were in before

To continue where you left off, you have to scroll all the way down again. With a mouse-wheel this is quite slow due to the large icons, so I often drag the slider bar instead (but that’s another minor issue).

This same behaviour persists through all menus: Flight Training, Discovery Flights, Landing Challenges, Bush Trips, 40th Anniversary content etc.

Could the menus return to the same place they were at when clicking “Back”? At least for the current session. Once a flight has been launched, the sim should ‘forget’ for next time you return to the menus.

It would be a nice QoL feature for browsing the game content
