Add assignment to disable sound in the sim directly

Please add an assignment that turns off all sounds in the sim. Currently, only possible with the windows sound mixer.

Agree - used to be the “Q” key many iterations ago. Would be nice to be able to quickly mute the sim. Make sure you vote for your own wish!

Voted. It is really useful to be able to quickly toggle the sound off if your flight is interrupted by the telephone… or grandkids! :slightly_smiling_face:

FYI, there is a workaround for this if you have the Game Bar installed. Bring up the Game Bar, click on the audio icon, from where you can alter the volume or mute individual audio channels (system, VLC & MSFS 2024 in this pic):
