Add Second CDI to Cessna 152

Please replace the accelerometer in Cessna 152 with a second CDI unit. For many reasons:

  1. Cessna 152 has the normal two VHF nav radios but Nav 2 is useless without a second CDI to link it to.
  2. This aircraft doesn’t have GPS or DME so it will benefit by having both CDI’s to run cross bearings.
  3. There doesn’t appear to be a way to switch the one CDI over to Nav 2 radio.
  4. Accelerometer is not needed in this type of aircraft.

The C152 in MS 2020 was correct - it had two CDI’s.

But you should at least reference that you are calling out the 152 AEROBAT. And the name alone should imply the swap to the accelerometer. You want two CDIs, get out of the Aerobat, and move to the stock bird! Oh, wait, there is only ONE 152 in 2024?

An accelerometer is somewhat important in aerobatic aircraft.

I’ve got the standard 152 with dual CDI’s in 2004. Not sure why it’s not showing in other folks setups. I didn’t purchase it separate from the stock sim.

Hi, I don’t know if you specifically mean the Cessna 152 Aerobat, but if you do, then you may want to update your title and change the tag to this:

cessna-152-aerobat

You can do that by clicking the :pencil: icon next to the title of your post and changing it:

My bad. Thought I was looking at the “Default” configuration. Not sure why that happened.
