I think you are correct. I will check it out as I am guessing that in a bundled Yoke/TQ, TQ’s PS2 connection may integrate it with Yoke, and not as a separate component. I don’t see the TQ from bundled item on PC at all.
I have 3 saitek throttle and works fine. You need to asign a name in the list of controls on the control menu. I have named S-left, S-center and S-right.
That is correct. The TQ that comes with the yoke is part of the yoke. It uses a din type plug and can only be used with the yoke (unless your handy with wiring mods, goggle that). The stand alone TQ’s have a usb connection. I run two usb types and both show up.
I bought the Saitek yoke/throttle quadrant (mini-din/ PS/2 connector) package and a 2nd, USB connected Saitek quadrant. When I plugged both into the yoke (I also tried every other available USB port for the 2nd one.), only the USB quadrant appeared in the CONTROL configuration option. Somehow, somewhere there was an I/O conflict. I spent hours trying to find and fix the problem. I finally bought a 2nd USB quadrant, and both USB ones seem to work fine without the mini-din one. Now, I use the 2 USB quadrants for twins and the PS/2 quadrant for single engine aircraft.
