I’m experimenting with panel editing by trying to swap gauges in a WASM gauged aircraft.
There’s a cockpit camera gauge that I’d like to swap for the GTN750.
Editing the panel.cfg is straightforward, but the result is a highly magnified (zoomed in) portion of the GTN750.
My question is how to resize or rescale the GTN759 so that it fits the space correctly?
The sole reason that I’m attempting this is that I’d like to see the WXR display of the GTN750 replace the cockpit camera display.
Being tenacious, I keep coming back to this because I’ve started so I’d like to finish, and panel modding back in FS9/FSX/P3D was something I was able to do with amateurish confidence.
Thanks.
Perhaps an image of the aircraft in question will help (which perhaps I should have included earlier!).
In the MSFS world, weather is so beautifully portrayed that a WXR is neceassry, and whilst I am sure that AS are working on implementing it in the CRJ, there is no guarantee that WASM will work with MSFS modules.
For this reason, I’d rather see a WXR display instead of the cockpit door camera.
So, if anyone knows how to scale this gauge for gauge panel.cfg edit, I’d be truly grateful.
