Adding papi lights to runways

Ive been trying to add papi lights, but I cant seem to make them work correctly. The angle seems off, and Im not sure how to adjust it. It’s currently set at 33 degrees according to the chart.

remember that there is a difference between true north and magnetic north and that this difference depends on the location of the airport

The average angle for papi lights is 3 degrees, sometimes it’s over 3.5 but that’s pretty rare. If I can’t find a reference I set it to 3 degrees every time.

Most decent airfield charts will have the papi angle written on them next to where the lights are located like this one - https://www.aurora.nats.co.uk/htmlAIP/Publications/2019-01-31-AIRAC/graphics/53557.pdf

Ah, i read it as the runway bearing the OP was talking about rather than the glide slope.

These 033 degrees are the runway heading not the glidepath (the papis indicate), isn’t it?

The 33 degrees indicated on the chart, including on the vertical navigation part, does specify the magnetic bearing of the runway yes.

You need Airport (Aerodrome) Charts to find the right VASI type and angles.

In your case it’s 3.4’ for RWY03 and 3.5’ for RWY21.
Set these angles in the pitch field for every PAPI4.
