ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Advanced layer sometimes doesn’t work and you can’t see the map because of the clouds

Did you experience this issue before you joined the Beta?: No

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?: No mods on my community folder

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)? Intermittently, almost all the time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Run the game
  2. The first time you select the advanced layer maybe works
  3. After that it doesn’t work any more

What peripherals are you using, if relevant: Not relevant

[PC Only] Are you using Developer Mode or have you made any changes to it?: Not using Developer Mode

[PC Only] Many issues may be due to an outdated graphics card. Please state your Graphics Card Driver Manufacturer (NVIDIA, Intel, AMD) and Version: Nvidia, latest drivers

• Yes

Provide extra information to complete the original description of the issue:
• I’m able to select “Advanced” and make changes the first time I open Map Layers but once it’s been selected and the Map Layers are closed, I can’t return to the Advanced Options unless I exit Free Flight and then enter again.

So, accessing the Advanced Option works consistently for me the first time but not again until exiting/entering Free Flight again.

Also, the choices between Map View, Blend View and Satellite View do not seem to work consistently.

• As an example, with Blend View selected it seems to provide Map View instead
