I’ve been trying to do at least 10 fire extinguish missions, but I can’t find any tasks except for the 6 I found in California and Brazil. Anyone with a location recommendation? MSFS 2024 career-mode

There is one in Vigo, Spain that’s like an introductory mission to firefighting. So, I figure you can find more in the Galicia region (notorious area for wildfires and “wild” fires).
If you have your own company for each type of activity there is a heatmap available. Have a look there and see in what area of the world the hotspot is right now.
I don’t really understand this map and if it only applies when you have live weather unlocked but maybe there is some correlation. Or it’s the same as with SAR missions where a server issue seemed to be the problem because only 2 or 3 of them were available for everyone.
The mission hotspot map is the exact same no matter the mission type. Also you can change the season to see how the hotspots move but you cant change seasons in career; so the whole hotspot map seems utterly useless.
My sars unlocked after doing the sky crane exam for some reason.
When they initially introduced the Career Mode I thought they stated that missions would and could be “seasonally” based.
Therefore, forest fires would be more prevalent in the summertime and other types of winter-based missions would be less prevalent.

Scary! in UK, there’s not much, too wet most of the time. 1 or 2 in summer sometimes. Good night, its 5:30 am

When you have a moment, take a look at just how incredible our CalFire aviation force is!
Seeing these incredible aviators in action is truly something to behold.
There will be sometimes a couple of Broncos flying a circular hold over a fire — each at a different altitude — providing observation and relaying information to the command structure. Other times, they will fly as a “pilot” aircraft to guide a massive tanker in over a drop zone.
These individuals are seriously my mega-heroes.

I was frustrated because I couldn´t find any fire appart from the 2 starters mission in vigo and then south of spain.
One friend told me that probably on Brasil there are fires so i started to make cargo and medevac flights skipping the cruise to discover new areas.
On the airport Concordia SSCK there is one mission about firefighting.

I’ve had a couple missions in Florida, as well.
