I’m getting the issue as shown in the first examples that almost appear LOD related (not the recent mismatched tile problem), and just assumed is was such and lived with it. I’m running TLOD at 150, 5800X3D, 8 GB 6600XT, 16GB DDR4, running at 1440p. I have tried turning settings down, but still had it and figured it was either limited RAM or VRAM related, being unable to load in the tiles at a further distance to not be noticeable.

i see in all videos, with best pc, same problems constantly present… so it s not relative to vram or ram… it s asobo or microsoft problems.

Happens all the time now when flying somewhat low, especially in hilly or mountain regions it seems.

I never had this problem and now out of the blue without me changing anything I have terrain popping in and scenery not loading in correctly… I thought I did something wrong with the infamous mod after uninstalling it, so I did a full system reset and clean install… just to read that this is a common problem ? but heyyyyyy we are making a new sim… for christs sake… im not spending a cent on this piece of software anymore. sims state is absolutely catastrophic. its ridiculous.

You did, you just didn’t see it before. It’s been around since WU5 I believe.
You having used the Voldemort mod won’t have done this.

its weird because I mostly fly in the same places as I did since SU5… I have to admit in mountain area there were some sort of troubles like this, but not like what I experienced in the last days… courchevel for example was always flawless… now it keeps loading and loading stuff whenever I move. and I also think its LOD related, when I gain some altitude with the drone cam, everything seems fine, when going back low, crazy pop-ins and loading stuff. its crazy. that voldemort line gave me a good laugh, thanks

So do we have to live with it now until ms/asobo decides they may adress this problem in MSFS 2028 or is there any workaround Im not aware of? because now Im really thinking of switching platforms. That is not acceptable.

Just to be clear it was World Update 5 that did this, not Sim Update 5.
I suspect this was around the same time, give or take a month or two, but it was different update.
only world update I have installed is germany… idk

It’s probably code that came along in the base sim accompanying WU5. WU5 was the Nordics update, and I’ve seen it all over the world. It’s most common around areas where there is PG I believe.
Toronto used to be horrible, with big squared off blocks of the coastline that didn’t get better no matter how far away you were from them.
thats horrible… yeah its not everywhere but there were it is, its really annoying and immersion breaking.

Interesting. I’m asking because the problem was mostly contained to Corsica, Croatia and Greece.
So now it’s really spreading and nobody is doing anything about it.
They are all busy with FS2024.

Look at the trees! I think this is lord voldemorts work… or is this also related to the tiles problem? Because this I surely never have seen before and I fly there regularly (Berlin Tiergarten)
No, that is regular giant trees for performance purposes. Hopefully one of the things that will be looked at in 2024.

Im ok with the size (it kinda looks like that in real life) but there are parts where PG just wont load, and it has that typical voldemort-blue to it… it doesnt look like default bing maps 100%. Then I also have those tiles like in the pictures from others above. not in berlin, but for example at courchevel like I said and neaples (tried the discovery flight and noticed it looked different than what I remember). I always came back to this flight because I loved the scenery. It looked better before.Thats why I said I never had this problem … might take the chance switch my hdd for a nvme ssd and clean install everything…
From my experience it can happen anywhere. It’s just not happening every time. Totally inconsistent behaviour

Yeah! I think it’s a server issue! Try going offline and then back online in the Sim. It should work but definitely annoying!
