While we’re waiting to find out what we’ll be eating in 2024, let’s continue with MSFS 2020…
I don’t have the knowledge to create an universal smoke mod, but at least I can give you 4 for different aircraft:
- CAP10C
- Pitts S2
- Extra 330
And for those who have it : - C152 Aerobat
These mods are independent, which means you can install one or more as you like.
Once you’ve unzipped them, simply copy the one(s) you want into your Community folder.
That’s all.
Smoke effects are activated by binding “PEDESTAL LIGHTS ON” and “PEDESTAL LIGHTS OFF” for white smoke,
and “TAXI LIGHTS ON” and “TAXI LIGHTS OFF” for Blue/Red smokes.
Note 1: the C152 Aerobat only have the white smoke.
Note 2: The “TOGGLE” function works when you’re flying “live”, but if you’re using FlightRecorder or Skydolly to record your flights it won’t work when replaying.
That’s why I recommend using “On/Off” rather than “Toggle”.
