I wonder if it’s possible to have at least some of the forces output/visualization available outside of the Developer Mode? Also - I think it was mentioned that local features, such as geography or buildings, have an effect on the air. It’d be nice to also be able to see streamlines or vectors of the local air mass to be able to get some measure of that?

I’d like to say that there is a bit of a discussion going here about the aerodynamics model in the sim, based on what’s written in the SDK:

I also started a bug thread around aerodynamics issues. In particular, I’m pretty sure something is off with the drag model:

I have tried to make changes to the cfg files in the Kit Fox model as it is really bad. I don’t believe the cfg files in the folder set for the model are actually used.
I found my aircraft in:
C:\Users\RogerRamjet\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore
So far the changes I have made were undetectable in the game.
There is a possibility that the aero data needed to run the sim is generated while loading. That would not be hard with our computing power.
One example is for the Kit Fox, it shows empty weight = 2200lb. I tried 650 (accurate) and 20,000 but the model flew the same.
Does anyone know if there are files somewhere else that are used?
