This is happening to me just now in MSFS2024 with Aerosoft’s CRJ 2.0.
CRJ-700 climbing FL160 for FL250. Wasn’t touching any controls, and in fact was in the external view admiring the view when the plane froze mid-air. I could still pan the camera, the sound was still there, the EFB was still working, the cockpit door could open and close.
But the yoke, throttles, and all buttons no longer respond. i waited for a while but it never came back. This ever happen to anyone else? I’ve not had it happen in any other plane.
Happened to me just now. Very odd because this is the first time this happened out of so many flights I’ve done. Everything was still functional but the aircraft just wouldn’t move and the displays were frozen. Couldn’t use slew mode either to move the aircraft, definitely weird.

Everything froze as I tried to change the Star to new runway. I thing its a MSFS20 issue as it happens sometimes with PMDG aircraft.
Funny thing is aircraft still flying and able to control manually.
