Aerosoft CRJ Series

It takes some time before you can turn on the yaw dampers after you power up the airplane. I believe that’s realistical. I’ve never had a problem with the CRJ’s AP in MSFS2024. Maybe some HW conflict?

You have to turn on both yaw dampers, both trim switches, and Mach trim in order to engage the autopilot. The yaw damper switches and main trim switches do not light up when engaged. Only the Mach trim switch has an internal light. (It is this way in the real aircraft). The only way to tell if the yaw dampers or trim are not activated is to look for an amber CAS message YAW DAMPER or STAB TRIM.

Also, the IRU has to be fully aligned to engage the yaw dampers

Thank you for the info. That did the trick. :slight_smile: I was just used to the previous Version where you only had to turn on the yaw dampers.

If it involves copying from your Ms2020 folders to ms2024 folders, that is no longer an option.

And why is it against the rules when the forums are loaded with how to get 2020 planes working in 2024???

Why is that not an option? I merged my 2020 and 2024 folders, they both link to the same directory

Simply because i am not willing to reinstall 2020. Not worth the headache

Getting used to waiting… for the.PMDG 737, the iFly Max and the official Black Square products. C’est la vie.

I’ve got a really specific question that I can’t seem to find the answer too. Are you able to close the window shades in the cabin? Hoping someone who has this plane can let me know..

XBOX X FS2020 SU16beta. Crj1000 ignoring NAV mode, and responding only HDG mod. Smaller crjS work fine.

I haven’t had that issue on my Xbox x. Most of the issues I’ve had (a few) have been due to pilot error on my part… everything seems to work as it should, for me anyway..

There’s a new update 2.1.10 available on Aerosoft with quite an extensive changelog. Can’t wait to try it.
