Aerosoft Simple Traffic

I only have Las Vegas as an addon and it seems to be ok with that. Have found that the LVFR and Aerosoft work better when in real time traffic, looks chaotic in AI offline!

The trouble with Aerosoft is that they do seem to be quite bad at reacting to problems and initially seem reluctant to accept that anything could be wrong. I seem to remember that simple traffic was causing issues on PC (infinite loading times if I remember correctly) when it was first released and some of us had problems, reported them to Aerosoft and it took a while for them to accept that the problem even existed. There was a clash with some payware airports add-on sceneries as I recall. They did sort it but the initial reaction was not ideal.

The trouble with Aerosoft is that they let their most arrogant guy communicate with their customers. And their general attitude is “you should be happy that we let you buy a product from us, so don’t complain”. They even breed their own trolls and upvote their insulting posts. I hate going to their forums but sometimes I just need to. I use Simple Traffic for PC without any problems though, so I hope it will be fixed for Xbox.

Am I crazy or has this been removed from the Xbox marketplace?

I have also noticed that the product is no longer list in the Xbox Marketplace. I have the add-on and it also is not showing up in the Content Manager, even though it still appears to be working in the simulator. I wonder if it can be disabled, though, absent a full reset of the sim on the console?

Well if it has been removed and we still own it they should allow us to turn it on or off, so this better gets a fix too. I dont want to be taken away control if I want a product active or not because that is totally unaccepatble

Confirmed product was removed from Marketplace and also disappeared from content manager but product is still active in the sim. Now @Jummivana can you please give us an update on how we can remove it from out sim now that we cant uninstall it from content manager ??? Because if its not working and it has been pulled i want to remove it but how can we remove it if its not in content manager anymore ??? Either enable us that own it to install or remove it as we please or give us another fix. I dont want to reinstall the entire sim yet again

I think the way Marketplace products are being managed needs to change. Buyers are harmed by products that do not work as they should and they are removed without notice and without knowing if they will be fixed and how soon they will be fixed. This is ridiculous!

Exactly we need tocatleast have control kf what we want to keep installed or remove even if its pulled from the marketplace instead of a rejnstall every time. Also do we get our money back from this pack ? @Jummivana

I found another bug for the Aerosoft team… could be an issue with PC too.

Loaded a flight with offline AI setting of traffic at 40 and zero ground. Saw good representation of traffic at gates, delta, united… then I crashed my 172 Cessna before takeoff :frowning: and when flight reloaded all traffic on the ground was gone. Exited to menu and setup flight again and traffic was back. Then used ‘X’ to restart the flight to see what would happen as I suspected the traffic would be gone and all traffic was gone again.

Not sure if this is the same behavior for Online Traffic. Thought I would share in the hopes that it will assist dev team at Aerosoft. Not sure if they are reading this thread so I will post on their site as well.

I decided to do a complete reinstall of the sim just i can get this uninstalled but in the future we need to keep control of owned products even if removed from the store. Also with thus now been pulled from the Marketplace please refund me @Jummivana

You don’t have to reinstall the whole Sim. Just clear reserved space and that’ll remove all DLC.

I know but i thought i might as well do a full fresh install

It is ridiculous that removing an item from the store stops it appearing in the installed list.

What a mess this is. And not one word from the developer???

Xbox has denied my refund? How can you reject a refund for a product you have withdrawn from sale.

Disaster from start to finish.

There is automatic denial if you’ve already requested 2 refunds for the year. I’ve had some success in the past creating a zendesk ticket where you have a chance to explain in more detail to someone, but it can take a while to work through the system.

I really hope @Jummivana Jayne will help us, i like my money back specially now that it has been removed

It has probably been taken off the MP with the best intentions and probably to stop other people from buying it and having a product they are unhappy with.

I am fairly sure that Jayne will help if she can but I would guess that anyway Aerosoft will either fix the product or you will get your money back.

My sympathies :slightly_smiling_face: and I hope that it is sorted out for you all soon.
