Yeah “luckily” I had it installed when they removed it… Still made a ticket for a refund though.
Just bought this from the marketplace on pc. Set the recommended settings as stated in the manual (ground traffic 0?) and as I would probably expect with that setting. Had 0 ground traffic. Is that expected behaviour and does anyone know if it conflicts with the 4simmers liveries?
The ground setting is just for decorative aircraft - they never fly or move, in either traffic mode.

So presumably I should still see some traffic at stands then either ai or online. But I see nothing gonna reboot and see if it fixes the issue
Sometimes it take a little time to populate. You can wait a few minutes and you’ll see aircraft appearing, either landing, or just spawning at the gates.
If you take off right away you may be leaving from a pretty empty airport. But by the time you arrive at your destination there will be more aircraft at this location.

I have to admit. This in combination with static aircraft works pretty well… I’m at Warshaw right now. Good variety of static aircraft (Lot, WizzAir, Lufthansa) and planes coming in and departure(Qatari Cargo, Lot). Live traffic enabled.

Aerosoft: don’t use live traffic mode
Xboxers: I don’t see airplanes with live traffic mode!
Live mode, you see live airplanes, nothing else
AI Mode all the pretty airplanes in thier pretty little spots
Oh and both modes are horrible in their own special ways.

And a full day passed but still no refund, therefore i like some help please. Everyone receives their refund and credits in minutes for me its been over 24 hours still nothing.

I got a reply that said they would contact MS Billing. But heard nothing since this morning.
Glad I’m not the only one stuck in limbo land. Hopefully we get an answer soon.
Did mine through my microsft account, just searched for ‘microsoft dlc refund’ and completed form in link. My first refund so this option probably only works if you have max of 2 previous refunds in last 12 months so I’ve read.

I did the same this morning and got the same response as you. But right now, I actually don’t really need a refund… I’m quite happy whit this combined with Static Aircraft from LVFR…Sure, not all live traffic have the correct liveries but it’s so much better then those generic ones.
I’m sure they find a solution for the ones who are effected.
But I don’t hope they pull this add-on all together for Xbox.
I might feel the same. Except I don’t have it installed and now have no way of reinstalling.

I’m with you on this one,
I prefer to have some real world aircraft than just the generic ones.
It’s a step in the right direction just needs a bit more work on variety of aircraft.
Don’t give up on it.

I purchased this add-on when it hit the marketplace for Xbox. I still have it installed. I guess we will see what happens over the next week or so before making up my mind on whether to seek a refund or not.
In the back of my mind lingers the DC6 situation that many fellow Xbox’ers faced, where we purchased a product that (as we all know) wasn’t ready for Xbox. However, those users who didn’t want to wait for a fix were refunded. Like the DC6 situation, this will get fixed one way or another, and we either wait for fix (hopefully not 6 months) or full refunds given out. One of these will happen. We won’t be left in the lurch over this.
Meanwhile, for me, this add-on (as-is) is still better than what’s currently available by default. Of course, I’d like the full features of this product to be available to Xbox’ers and that are available PC users.
Maybe I’ll seek the Static Aircraft add-on from LVFR to further build upon Aerosoft’s Simple Traffic. Is there consensus among the Xbox’ers that this is true?

That is my biggest problem too that we dont have control of something we own, that it got removed ok but those of us that own it should be allowed to decide to use it or not
