After MSFS 2020 re-install, a pilots life 2 would not connect anymore to MSFS 2020

Hello

I had to re-install MSFS 2020 and now “A Pilots Life 2” would no longer connect to MSFS 2020. I have FSUIPC installed (I also re-installed this just to be sure) but I can’t get APL 2 to connect again to MSFS 2020.

Any ideas what I am missing?

Start APL first ensuring you are connected to the server at the bottom of the screen, and then start FS2020. Once FS2020 has started, check APL and ensure it is connected to FS2020. If it’s not running I suggest to check the file exe.xml in the root of the sim wich is
C:\Users\jyournam\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator
In the file exe.xml you are missing

Just type these lines just before the end statement </SimBase.Document>
Then restart the sim

OP has the Microsoft Store version so I will provide the path to the exe.xml file below
c:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\

I reinstalled FSUIPC and bootet the PC and there you go :joy:
