After re-install, no Beechcraft model 18

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

After reinstallation of MSFS 2024, there is Beechcraft Model 18 missing, although it shows as “Streamed” in the library. I have the Premium Deluxe verison of MSFS 2024

Before the re-install was it available in FS2024 ?
Did you buy it on the FS2020 Marketplace ?

Yes, before the re-install the D18 was available, I flew it just two days ago. As far as I remember, I bought it for MSFS2020:

This is MSFS2024 aircraft selection screen, search for “Beech”:

And my library, showing the -18 as “Streamed”:

All I did after the re-install was to assign Community folder to my E:\MSFS2024 folder – it was empty at the time and the Rolling cache file is also in this location.

Other than that, I did not change a thing. I am seeing 94 aircraft on the aircraft selection screen - Premium Deluxe version.

Should I attempt another re-install?

Looking at the list under your Library, those are not your planes, I believe those are generic planes that the sim populates the world with. Your Beech, as with all add-ons, should be further down the list, not under Base Content. Enable it there, and it should work. Try searching for it, if you can’t find it.

I see… well, search does not show another Beechcraft D18S. I had a look at the different MSFS2024 versions aircraft lists and I noticed that the D18S is a part of the Aviator edition - which I do not have; I have the Premium Deluxe. But since I had it bought in MSFS 2020 and because it was present a couple of days ago before the reinstall, shouldn’t I have it still?

I think it should show up, yes. I’m in the exact same situation as you. Premium Deluxe but bought this on 2020.

It does show up for me just fine.

Have you try to disable and enable the aircraft in My Library ?

I also don’t have the aviator edition, but I bought the Beech in 2020, and it shows in My Library.

If you can’t find it in that list, I really don’t know why.

Thanks to all who replied… unfortunately, the D18S is still not visible.
What I did:

  • Deleted “StreamedPackages”
  • Deleted “Content.xml”
  • Empty “Community”

MSFS recreated the above two folder and file, but the D18S is nowhere to be seen. Except the old MSFS2020 version 1.8.1 (or some such). Which is disabled by default. Enabling it crashes my MSFS2024.

The only possible option that I can see is to upgrade to the Aviator version - which I really, really do not want to spend 100$ on.

What are my options then? I seriously doubt that another reinstallation would solve this?

I did and after several exchanges, I am nowhere closer to seeing the D18S. Also missing are ATR 42/72 and the DHC-4 Caribou. All three are disabled with the “Not Creator Approved” label.

Question: is it the same for everybody who bought any of these three aircraft? Has everybody just enabled the “Not Creator Approved” aircraft and it worked? I get a constant freeze if I do…
