Tried the Bentwing.Very basic model inside but couldn’t get it into the air.It just kept doing donuts on the grown when I applied throttle.I may try it again later.
Looks interesting but unfortunatley is unflyable.
I’m flying it, what’s the problem?

Flies well for me too. Just remember to use the tailwheel lock and apply power very gently.
On a side note, after I parked, I found this guy - must have just come from the bar…

Always spins to the right or left early in the take-off roll and crashes.

Forget short takeoffs - not happ’nin’… Taxi slowly and ground handling won’t be as much of an issue. Line up on the runway, the lock the tailwheel. Release the brakes and roll the power on slowly. Keep the tail down until the rudder has plenty of authority, then just let her lift off the runway.
Is there an actual P-47 out there? I would love to try one out!
