Anyone else finds the buildings and trees accuracy massively degraded in FS24 ?
FS2020 did much better job at buildings height/shape.
In FS24 all the houses became tall buildings !

Could you give us a screenshot comparison? In all honestly, despite its many shortcomings, I find FS24 much better in this regard.
here you go. And let me tell you, FS2020 looks much more like reality !
FS2024 is simply wrong ! its an imaginary city ! And its just one out of many examples.

Yes, it happens yesterday, but I am not sure why. It seems, that if the Asobo servers can’t stream properly, you will get many possible anomalies.
Few times my outside camera was not working, the cockpit camera was showing to the top, one time I did not hear anything from Cessna 172, no engine sound, nothing.
If I have to guess, it’s their streaming service. Sometimes works fine, sometimes it’s worse than hell…
Yep, had this exactly, I flew in Italy and this was the same texture. Very ugly. MFSF 2020 was way better in this case, had never such anomalies.

My guess is that they kicked the partnership with Blackshark AI and went with some in-house tool for AI building and trees. And the result is as we see

I hope not.
They are also not very much in public. I don’t even know if Asobo still exist right now, they are very quiet. Who knows with what problems they are dealing right now.
I just checked this, and it seems you are right, because at this time MFSF 2024 does not look even 1% like it should.

Plus their name does not show up in the partners logos when you start the game.
Oh boy, did we discover a new problem?
If that’s true, I have to go back to MFSF 2020 and to stop this madness. The last thing I wanted, it to have a Flight Sim like Star Citizen. I am thinking of refund.
I am sure they will fix many issues with time. But i got a feeling this will stay as it is forever.

Yes, they confirmed months ago that Blackshark aren’t involved anymore.
It does seem theres an issue with the streaming in some areas tonight, but when the streaming is working its better, but as we all know the streaming is hit and miss.
In other news, Blackshark are working with Unreal to develop a world for Unreal Engine… now that could be very interesting for gaming in the future.
