AI Traffic struggling with parallel runways at Christchurch International (might happen at other airports too?)

Brief description of the issue:

(These problems are noted at Christchurch International (NZCH) and might happen elsewhere if anyone can contribute/having the same problem at other airports. It also happens regardless if you have stock traffic or addon traffic like FSLTL)
At Christchurch International, there are two parallel runways (02/20 paved) and a much shorter runway (02L/20R grass). Sometimes, ATC will send traffic to the paved runway, as it should in either wind direction, but sometimes it will send it to the grass runway (only smaller aircraft use the grass runway IRL), which leads to two problems:
If it’s sent to 02L, it will overrun the runway, but still continue its journey once it takes off.
If it’s sent to 20R, it won’t backtrack (although facing the runway 20 heading) and will just continue at slow speed on that heading South for all eternity until you leave the area/end the flight.
This problem existed before the New Zealand World Update and Sim Update 12 did not fix it.

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

Spawn at NZCH, either wait for the winds to be correct or use custom weather and set the winds to favour either runway. It may help to spawn at the west parking spaces (where the aeroclub is, and the grass runway) to watch this happen.

Similarly bad AI ATC treatment at KSNA, which has a 5,700-foot runway used IRL by airliners and a 2,886 foot runway used IRL mostly by GA traffic. MSFS ATC always puts me on the long runway even if I’m in a lil Cessna, but has airliners landing and taking off on both (usually badly :D)
