The planes are stacked in those two spaces. Watch long enough and you’ll see them change. The only other available space is down the other end of the gates.
It’s a fault in the airport design. Can’t be changed until Microsobo fix it…which they won’t. Americans don’t visit Alicante very often lol.
Seriously though, faulty gates and ramps are one of the many downsides of procedural generation of airports.
I’ve just installed Traffic Controller and Traffic Manager, but when I press ‘Flightplans’ and then ‘Online’ no airlines are showing to select - I saw an earlier post saying there might be server issues - is this still the case?
Could this server problem be causing CTDs in-game?
I’ve been trying to diagnose quite regular crashes and they only seem to be happing with the Traffic Controller running. I thought I’d cracked it as I had it set up incorrectly (wrongly believing I needed in-game traffic set to 50% AI offline) and it behaved for a while but then crashed again.
I’ve yet to get a crash when playing the game without the TC running. It could just be coincidence but still…
This traffic mod is such a game changed I’d hate to have to play without it.
Don’t think TC requires any outside connection to run (hopefully Kaii will respond) as I believe it only reads the exisiting local files and injects them into the sim.
I can say, I did a great flight yesterday with no issues of any kind (well, just some strange routing from Navigraph).
Is that why I’ve been getting blue screens on loading AIGTC today? I’m a new user and have seen only a fraction of the airlines I installed at eg (LFSB and LEBL) even when it worked. The error I got was WHEA unrecoverable error or something onloading the Traffic Manager.
I’ve reverted to Online MSFS traffic - at least I still get AIG models…
No, once installed no connection to an outside server is required on the part of AIGTC.
CTD’s for the sim itself are rare and may point to a conflicting mod installed in the community folder. I would try to run the sim only with AIG as a test, and see if you still get a CTD.
There is an ongoing bug in simconnect, under investigation by Asobo which causes AIGTC itself to crash occasionally - but not the sim.
Hi
thanks for your very prompt reply. Yes I looked it up and that is what they suggest. I have never seen this error before though, my PC is relatively new and pretty stable in general, so something about AIGTC loading into MSFS must be triggering this to happen - not necessarily AIGTC itself of course.
AIGAIM is currently not available to download due to an issue caused by our server host. At this time we have reason to believe the issue will not be reversible on the host’s side.
There are number of things we are looking at in order to resolve the problem however the timeline on any fix being published currently stands at mid-February, this is something outside of our control.
Existing AIGAIM installations will still work but you will not be able to use the AIGAIM program to update your installation until such time that a fix is published. We will do everything that we can in order to restore functionality as soon as possible.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused,
Sincerely - team AIG
Sorry to see this. I don’t use AIG but I appreciate their software exists for those who want to use it. It has been quite a robust development project.
Hope you really don’t have to experience a mid February or later downtime.
Noooooooooo Today I installed the addon linker and in order to have everything in order I deleted all my addons from the community folder thinking to download them again in the new folder used by the addon linker.
So it means all my AIG liveries and planes are lost, now when I wanted to download them again I cant and I see I´ll have to wait and fly with empty skies and airports
Hope the issue will be fixed soon. Now I dont imagine the sim without real airlines and real planes doing real routes
