I tried to register for the forums the other day but I never got confirmation that my registration was accepted, so I simply added my two cents to a similar discussion going on here.
I reported right here when I realized AIG Manager would not accept the AVSIM Login. Kali Responded with working on a fix. Surely this is an issue everyone is having.
I understand Dev Support is against the forum rules. But I see other Devs providing support and not having their hands slapped. So a simple acknowledgement like “We Are Aware” would be enough for me.
FYI, there are far more posts than the volunteer moderators are able to read in their available time. So we also rely on users flagging posts that contravene the Code of Conduct, as explained here.

Well I poked around over at the bug reporting forum for atc and after looking for the AIG AI OTI forum without success I left in frustration.
If someone can point me in the right direction I would be happy to move my issues elsewhere. It’s very difficult to find this kind of information on these forums.
I just spent over an hour trying to get into Discord. And once in it’s confusing. I wish more developers would use their own forum instead of discord.
Anyways this is the link for the AIG Forum.
I was able to register and now I am waiting to be approved.
Many thanks for the link. I left a message over there but it seems others are having the same problem. If I get a response I’ll post it here.
I was able to log in this morning. I never received an email indicating my registration had been approved. I didn’t go through many posts yet but I am sure Kali has been aware of the issue. Yes, please let us know if you get a response.
Please do. I find the whole AIG/ AvSim thing a total mess - I reckon I have spent about 10 hours wrestling with their registration process (Still cant get onto forums) and troubleshooting trying to download AIG models. Not working for me at all.
I will keep trying to get to their forums, etc. but its not really what I want to spend my very limited Sim time doing ![]()
Thanks again!
The Avsim login is still not working. I wrestled with the forum as well. I think it took at least 7 trys to register.
They know about the installer not being able to connect with AVSIM and are moving away from AVSIM entirely with the next update. So they at least recognize that the installer is broken and are working on a fix.
-download/login issues with AVSIM have been solved with the latest Update.
-JB’s website is back online and AIM can now again download repaints from there.
Most recent post from AIG:
There is an update regarding JB’s website.
I’ll save you from the technical stuff and just give you the short version. The server is somewhat back. JB sent me some info on how it’s going with the server.
Beside a few files released within the last few days, all files are there. That means it’s okay to slowly start update/install new flightplans.
The visual website (https://www.juergenbaumbush.de) might not be working correctly, but I know JB is working on it over the next few days, and the remaining files will be uploaded ASAP.
But the most important is that most files are able to be downloaded again now.
So you are cleared for updating/installing plans again using AIG Manager!
Thanks. I updated my flight plans without any problems.
Still didn’t work for me. It updated the installer but I still get stuck at Frontier for some reason. Just like before. Frustration levels are
reaching uninstall and forget about it levels.
The OCI setup doesn’t work. I designate an OCI directory and it kicks me back to the first page of the setup. It’s a never ending loop.
Sorry to hear people are having such difficulties. I am running the SU3 Beta and had a couple CTD but then AIG Traffic updated and seems to work fine. The database also updated.
I note that I have to be careful to start AIG TC after MSFS is fully up and running.
That’s why I used FSLTL with FS20. It’s dead simple in comparison.
But hey, I was willing to give AIG another fair shot in a new sim. It seems like it’s still just as janky and half broken as it was when it released though.
Follow the Support suggestions provided on the forum in your support-ticket.
So far we have been able to solve all major issues uses have reported. In many cases those are system-specific.
Would be helpful if you guys approved forum membership requests….
We do that multiple times a day
Really? Somehow both of mine have slipped through the net and reading this thread I am not the only one.
