I start AIGTC before msfs, and it seems to autoconnect once the game starts

thanks guess you mean “real time online” to on? (this seems to be under debate with some saying set aircraft traffic type to “off” and other saying select “real time online”? - will give both a try
Update:actually in the settings for traffic I can see aircraft traffic type - which I set to off - however in the flight setup I can see there is a live or AI or off setting - will try it with live
Was just about to respond to this (with my information) and then realized the name was the same as Discord, I have nothing further to offer lol.
Hopefully someone here has a solution though!

It could be coinicidence but I havne’t had it get stuck since turning off Windows Defender (noticed it was using 1.5GB of memory scanning everything coming in / unpacking.
Too early to tell though.
With AIG,my test the better result (havent test FPS yet): Turn on or off real time traffic on!

Runs ok.
I had defender off the whole time and I also have plenty of RAM. The only solution I guess could maybe?? be a dodgy internet connection that drops out for only a split second
No need to restart Traffic controller each time of the start of a new flight unless u did changes to the traffic controller!

Very cool to see pushback trucks working on good AI, I don’t know if it has always been a thing because I never had the default AI running (can’t get shadowplay to take screenshots or I would’ve posted some)

strange - set it up as directed (using the silent video) - the traffic controller software is showing connected - but getting absolutely to traffic (only couple of planes I saw were 2 static MS default aircraft parked at gatwick) - strangely getting loads of the ground vehicles (represented by grey squares on the map) - tried a few of the major airports (heathrow/gatwick/haneda) with the same result (absolutely no traffic!) - note on the flight planning screen under air traffic gave off/AI/Live traffic a try with no change…(I have a few but not all of the main airlines installed)
Will smaller GA aircraft be added eventually or how is that handled?
My airport (CYTS) has mainly Q400’s from Air Canada Jazz and Express as well as Porter. Dash8-300’s (Air Canada / Air Creebec) and then smaller twins (ThunderAir, Bearskin, Etc…)
If there are no GA planes and all traffic is off would this airport then be empty?

Did you launch the traffic controller after you launched the flight?
yes tried launching both before and after I had launched the flight…still absolutely no traffic except for 1 or 2 default MS aircraft although there are many ground vehicles showing and moving around the airports…also:
1)when I configure the air traffic in sim should I be selecting live traffic AI or off?
2)when I need to point the AIG software to the community folder there are 2 aig folders “beta” and “beta_cvt” whats the correct one to point AIG to?
any other ideas appreciated as I followed the setup guide step by step…
your in game settings are wrong…
- you need Offline traffic
- zero on the ground planes slider
- Generic set to off
I’ve tried with both live AI traffic and off. Didn’t hinder the AIG traffic. But do try with off anyway.
The correct one is beta not the one that ends with cvt
So when clicking inject traffic in AIGTC nothing happens. No planes appear. AIGTC says connected and is synced with sim time. The map showing where I am appears but no traffic appears on the map. Any solutions?
Everything working great, does anyone know if PF3 chats with ATC, I know pilot2atc does not.
In other word recognises A/I traffic.
