AIG AI Manager and Traffic Controller for MSFS

I think you’re right. I was at EGHI expecting a couple of arrivals and departures at the time. I was there but didn’t see anything. EGHI only has a few small airlines serving it so I wonder if the models aren’t in the database yet? I can’t find a way to check.

Edit: I’ve just found my answer under "Errordc in the AI Manager. There are no models for the airlines serving EGHI, hence no aircraft.

Some airports or airlines don’t spawn many planes. For example Singapore airlines only spawns a350’s. OMDB also has very few planes even if I set AIGTC to 100 traffic.

But in some like RPLL and EGLL, there are tons of planes

I already downloaded 100 flight plans including all major airlines

Depends on time of year I suppose, LEPA, LEIB are summer holiday airports so you get lots of traffic IRL in the summer, but as my traffic density is 100 it’s like the other poster said in reply to my question it just fills up empty gates with random airlines that never fly there
I have tons of easyJet , eurowings, air europa but also getting delta, united,JetBlue etc at LEPA
Must be my airport traffic density set at 100 filling those gates with US carriers instead of jet2, TUI etc that I have downloaded

On a different note saw a A380 emirates take off from EGCC yesterday, that was epic, so I am thrilled with this add on , plus love the map as I could track its flight route as it was climbing out on its way to Oman :oman: amazing

Yes , sometimes though it’s so congested with about 8 aircraft all taxiing to the active it’s difficult to take off , now that is immersive at EGKK

Oh so it depends on actual traffic volume in real life? For example if Singapore airlines is flying very few planes this month due to covid, then AIGTC won’t inject a lot of their planes?

Don’t quote me on this but all aircraft have flight plans which correspond to what time, where they fly to so as far as someone told me in this thread
Hence my question of having wrong aircraft at airports that IRL they would never visit as it’s not on their schedule eg my spirit wings at LEPA a holiday island in the Mediterranean so yeah that’s my understanding
Not sure about the COVID question bu could be based on what I was told

Ok so figured it out through help from the discord channel.

The solution is to download flight plans from 2019 and older since 2020 and 2021 flight plans will of course have less flights!

Can’t believe I didn’t think of that

Oh so yes, that’s really immersive, COVID affects msfs , wow this add on is immense

Don’t mean to condone the awful virus as two of my family have died from it but your investigation is fascinating

I can confirm that covid has affected the sim. I noticed that Heathrow and Gatwick were pretty much empty and then virtually as soon the UK restrictions were lifted the sim started to fill up with ai again.

fun, flightplans are based on seasons^^ so if you have a summer 19 flightplan you will always see preCOVID flights. Stuff since Su20 will be “covid”-included…

Thanks , very informative

So as to why I’m getting JetBlue and co at European airports is because my density slider is at 100 and not 0?

I have clinks mega pack installed, everything else is OFF except the traffic density slider

I have posted the settings you need over at the AIG website

Ok thank you , great work, really enjoying the add on :+1:t2:

Just doing flight Easy 21919 EGCC/LIEO, using PF3 ATC, working really well so far. Nice to hear PF3 communicating with A/I traffic.

Only issue ATC keeps asking me to FL350 which I am. So my workaround go to FL345. This is MSFS bug

It was nice to be told to wait at 23L while an easy jet flight to come in and Land.

Just ashame TCAS not yet implemented on the FBWa320 yet, and no contrails with the models.

Does PF3 actually control the AI traffic? Or is it just random chatter and helping you to avoid them like Pilot2ATC?

I found this tutorial useful for the initial set up, even if not using Vatsim:

Pilot2ATC which I also use, and like BTW doesnt talk to A/I from what I get, but on clearance PF3 was giving altittude departures. I only hear pilot2atc give you instructions. But on the ground PF3 was giving them instruuctions like while taxiing telling then to hold, if another plane was on their taxi route.

I maybe wrong not given pot2atc ago yet, still a nice alternative to stock ATC. Also there is the fantastic Vatsim.

Its giving instructions to other airlines

Yes I am pretty sure you can do that through AI manager. There is a tab to remove temp files…or you could do it manually inside the data folder.

If ground traffic is not set to zero then the sim places random AI at each gate or parking spot.
