AIG have released the AI Manager for MSFS into a Public Beta, and I’ve spent the last few days downloading the airlines and creating a VMR for use on VATSIM. We tried it out today on our earlier livestream, but this is the full tutorial to help show you exactly how to do it!
I hope you all find it useful

Thanks for the great tutorial. However, I do have one question: You manually change all the aircraft codes for planes that could not be matched. Why not use the “aircraft types” tab in model matching magic to setup a rule to that automatically?
You make a great point - I find that tab hard to understand and easy to get wrong so I tend to avoid it… That said it is a VERY good way of building all the items in automatically if you know how to set up those tabs correctly
Hope it helps
if you know how to use model matching magic better than me you can add the type codes into the tab mentioned above “Aircraft Types” and fill the areas out i.e…
E170 | Embraer | 10 | jet | (?i)(?=.*EMB-170)(?!=.*EMB-175)
and so on, then rescan

Whats wrong with these poeple? thats a horrendous bit of setup! I appreciate you walking through it for people though. Talk about User Experience!
Not the simplest
alternatively for a VMR you can download the one I’ve uploaded on flightsim.to

Hopefully that helps a few people with the Vatsim configuration side of things for a VMR

Thnx for the vid but i ve a question. After installing all the aig mod and a lot of airlines i tried to start msfs. I get to the world map and when i choose an airport and gate and click fly it keeps loading and loading.
Did i imoort to many airlines at once or is there an other problem.
Plz help
Sounds like you have an add-on which is either taking a long time to load (i.e if you’ve updated the FBW it can take up to 10mins to load everything again before you spawn) or you have some scenery or a livery which is broken.
I ve no addon except for the fbw which i have not updated recently
