Air Force Base With Military Aircraft/Vehicles?

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any Air Force bases that have military jets or vehicles or open hangars? I went to a few in UK and USA but all had civilian aircraft.

The only one I have been to with military jets is Miramar.

If you choose NOT to have generic aircraft for the AI, then you get the aircraft you have in your hangar. If you have military aircraft they should appear. I haven’t found any open hangars yet, so I don’t think the default generated buildings can do that yet. Perhaps there are some in the creator content.

Well, there are bases with F-18s in them now that the jet was released ahead of the movie. One’s in CA the other in FL if I recall correctly. I don’t know if they’ll properly show if you uninstalled the jet from the base/GOTY game.

Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean has a wonderful free scenery available that incudes an additional addon for vehicles and other aircraft you would normally see there like B-1 and B-52 bombers, and well as tankers and fighter jets.

NAS Key West has F18’s if you get the scenery for Key West, which may be on sale right now. Includes loggerhead island lighthouse and a detailed Ft Jefferson too.

Travis AFB add on. Has plenty C17s and helicopters parked up.
Only problems is its a downloadable add on so it might cause various issues on xbox

This still seems to be an issue for those of us on Xbox whereby we have no option to change from AI aircraft unlike on the Pc version.

I fly in and out of Uk military bases all the time and it is a shame to see both small prop aircraft and giant airliners in place of military jets especially when they are climbing vertically and doing barrel roles.

I hope they fix this before too long.
