Air Manager - G1000 bezels stopped Working

Dear All - Help needed
I built two G1000 panels using the generic bezels provided in AM instruments plus added some additional instruments. Used the pop outs to fill them with PFD and MFD. All good, worked a charm for a month or so.

Then they didn’t work. The panels, as built, were in Air Manager. However when displayed the bezels have disappeared but the other instruments remain. So deleted both the panels and rebuilt them. Same result. Not sure what has gone wrong or what I am doing incorrectly.

Not 100% sure on as I don’t use the default ones so it’s not something I really notice. Anyhow I think the community ones that you were using got removed for some strange reason. I believe they were replaced though with different ones. Not helpful if you had multiple panels using the originals but if you can find the new ones you can use those instead. Like I said I’m not certain on this as I don’t use those ones. Might be confusing them with the GNS overlays or something else.

Give the ones from Simstrumentation a try.

You can also customize them as to what knobs / buttons you want showing based on G1000 variant.

Thanks Sling and Sky. Will investigate further and hopefully get some more advice. If the community panels were removed, why am I seeing them in the instruments. I update software at every start up.

Also a Q for Sky. Looking at the link you provided leads me to .siff files. Sorry I am not very tech savvy. What do I do with them?

.siff files are Air Manager files.

Download the .siff, and then in Air Manager, select “Create / Edit” in the top left corner.

Once in there, select “Import” and then browse your PC to where the .siff was saved, select and import.

You’ll get a message once the import was done, then select the “Home” tab again in the top left.

Select the panel you want to add the Bezel to and then select “Add Instrument”

Browse for the newly added bezel which I think is categorized as “Generic”

Perhaps that’s the new one or I was mistaken about which instrument overlay. If it’s in the list you should be able to add it.
