Will we be relying completely on Asobo to update the airac cycle of our FMCs and Garmin GPSs?..
Or can this be done manually?

all will be updated via Asobo’s cyclical Updates. Try look at Videos or News…

I’m aware that they receive navdata every 28 days, but realistically speaking, I can’t see Asobo continuing to update this sim that often. Especially 1-2 years down the line.
So my question is, is there a way to get this database updated manually?

Given how they explained in the vid, it will take a few weeks after the airac update, to import them to the game. So youll always be one month behing the real version.

your post looks logical, but you need also take to account that preparation of data is started more quickly and soon in my opinion If their system is like yours then they simply can forget about this service.
