Good Morning,
Haven’t come across this before but I loaded my flight plan and have the Adirs set to NAV and although I have the waypoints showing on the display there is the missing magenta line to follow. I do have the screen setup on ARC … is there a switch I may have hit or is this a bug?
Well first things first. The A320 uses green line in the ND flight path. Not Magenta line.
Are you on managed NAV mode in your FCU? usually on selected heading mode, the flight path line is a broken dash green line.
What about when you open VFR map menu, can you see the magenta flight path in there?
Yeah your right about the green line, I am on managed NAV mode and when I do pull up the VFR I just see the waypoints and not the magenta flight path.
Doesn’t seem right. How do you load your flight plan? Is it from the World Map, or Simbrief, or Navigraph flight plan? Is it entered manually into the MCDU?
I have it loaded from Simbrief but also mirror the flight plan in the world map. It is not entered manually but throught the MCDU IRS INIT download from Simbrief.
Is the FD on?
FD is selected
HI there. I have that too occasionally. But only at takeoff, for thr first few wps. FD and autpilot will still follow the green line, even if it’s not there. After passing the first active wp, the green line comes back. So you can just ignore it andgo on. This issue (on takeoff) is already filed on our github.
ok Thanks, I did do everything as mentioned but didn’t mirror the flight plan in the world map and it worked fine. I tried a few other routes and didn’t have an issue even with the world map routes entered and the MCDU download from simbrief. It was just happening to me from KATL to KTPA for whatever reason. Big fan of the hard work and product you all rolled out to us simmers!
So I fixed this by going direct to a waypoint after I took off. Just went away and the lines connected.
this workerd for me thanks!
