Hi,
For the A320 airplane I normally use the Legacy cockpit mode of interaction.
Today, I tried to use the LOCK cockpit mode of interaction to check if it is possible.
But I have a concern:
How to operate the “Managed”/“Selected” FCU modes using the LOCK mode of interaction?
In Legacy mode there are 2 arrows on each knob that allow to set the corresponding parameter in Managed or Selected mode.
But in LOCK mode, I found no mean to do so.
Does anyone know the answer? Or is it impossible?
Thanks.
Patrice.
Try toggling with holding left click and then right click, to activate the push.
What about pulling then? I couldn’t get this to work in the A32NX myself. Works in the stock A320 (right click while locked to push, middle click to pull IIRC).
Any reason why you would need to be on LOCK cockpit interaction mode, since you tagged the topic for PC?
I try to test it in order to compare to the legacy mode.
I think this mode is not so bad, but it seems having some limitations.
It could be that A32NX is not fully developed for LOCK mode.
How to PUSH and PULL if LOCK mode selected.
Go to options > controls options > mouse
Select default profile > apply & save.
Click preset manager > duplicate > ok > apply & save
Click preset manager > reset to defaults > continue.
Click go back > apply and save.
In air > Press and hold Left Click Button and press Mouse 5 = PULL
In air > Press and hold Left Click Button and press Mouse 4 = PUSH
I tried these steps, still won’t work. Any other solutions???
It works, but airborne only and the autopilot must be ON.
