Having the same problem! Have had this problem since install, usually when approaching landing. This happens quite often. Usually switch to manual approach. Sometimes it helps to engage/disengage the A/P. Hope Asobo spends some time on the dreamliner (it’s premium after all)!
When it happens on approach, does a USER waypoint show up in the flightplan?
It may be this…
It happens sometimes after take-off and other times on approach, and yes many times I see USER way point
It’s a bug that the sim has been plagued with since SU9. The good news is it appears that it only happens when a flight is planned within the world planner. If you program a flight manually or using Simbrief within the A310, everything seems fine.
Can’t really comment on what’s happening during takeoff and climb. The bug seems to be isolated to when the plane enters the STAR.
Today my premium deluxe finished downloading. I was excited to fly the 787 but then experienced this issue when planning a flight through the world flight planner. I am on an xbox series s. I haven’t tried manual flight plan or sim brief but will do. anyone else still experiencing specifically on Boeing planes? my airbus a320 Neo works perfectly.
I had it happen the other day on the FS24 Vision jet. I was in a career flight and cancelled IFR to fly my own route to the transition to approach. The aircraft started flying just a couple degrees left of the flight path as indicated on the PFD during cruise, so it was a gradually increasing deviation as the flight progressed. I tried switching from NAV mode to HDG and manually correcting, but it started drifting again when switching back to NAV mode. I rarely fly it, and only have that one experience noticing this. I thought it was something I did wrong.
