Aircraft Battery Does Not Function Post SU 15

Unsure where is the correct place to put this post, here or in the SU15 Polls & Feedback Forum.

Today has been my first opportunity to get into the sim after SU15 and I have immediately run into an issue. The aircraft battery does not switch on. I have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and the battery is bound to the switch on the yoke. I started a flight c&d in the Bonanza G36 got through the cockpit checks and turned on the battery. The Garmin ‘bing bong’ sounded but the screen stayed black. Without looking carefully I simply quit the sim reloaded, repeated the flight start and had the same result. It was then that I noted that the battery switches were still in the OFF position. I tried operating the switches with the mouse and the same, got the audio but the switches did not move. I checked the binding in Control Options and the battery was correctly assigned to the Alpha switches and operating the switch on the Alpha resulted in the correct indications of the binding. I quit that flight and loaded up with the Baron G58 and the results were the same. I quit and loaded with the G58 on the runway. The aircraft was on the runway with only the LH engine running (probably because I hadn’t reconfigured the HC Bravo to a twin), the G1000 screen was displayed but the battery master switches were OFF and again, didn’t respond to switching either on the Alpha or with the mouse. I quit that and loaded up with the XCub c&d and the results were the same.

I never experienced this before SU15 but have been unable to find any other reference to this by searching.

You must have a control binding sending a battery event since you see this for all planes.

Remove any and all battery related binding from your controls menu and see if that’s it.

HC is known to spam unexpected events based on some of the control switches and dials. This can help determine that.

Rather than delete them all I searched each controller in turn to see what battery binds were assigned to each one. I discovered the culprit in the HC Bravo which, out of nowhere, had a Battery Off assigned to Switch 45. Deleted that and all is well with the world . I have switch 45 assigned to Prop Sync On.

Thank you for the prompt Big Cow74, I appreciate it.
