For faster trips where I want solely utilize VOR/DME’s (with no GPS option) I like to use Mario Noriega Designs C-22J. It has old school Collins radios, speed brakes, some system depth, a great sound pack and it’s very affordable.
I realize the design style is not everyone’s cup of tea but does technically meet your criteria
