Aircraft not flying straight while crusing

Hey guys,

Does anyone know why my aircraft not flying in a straight line?

Probably caused by crosswind and thus your autopilot is correcting for the deviation.

It’s called crabbing. This happens when you have crosswind blowing in perpendicular with your flight path. So if your aircraft is facing forward, the wind blowing from the side will push you off-course. So in order to compensate for this, your aircraft faces slightly towards the source of the wind so that the wind blows you to one side, the aircraft pushes towards the other, thus keeping your aircraft to stay on-course.

Some fighter pilots would fly with 5 degrees of rudder trim to put off enemy pilots taking aim at them. From the back it looked like they were straight where in reality they were slightly offset.
