Aircraft Search does not include Variants

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Aircraft Selection menu Search does not include any aircraft Variants.

• Search terms used: Ultra = No Result.
The Zlin Shock Ultra is listed as a variant of the Zlin Savage Cub.
• Search term used: Advertising = Only result is the Cub Crafters NXCub Aerial Advertising.
Search results do not include any other Aerial Advertising aircraft (Shock Ultra, Savage Cub, Norden, 172 G1000 & Steam, 152 & Aerobat…).
• Search term used: fire = Results are the B747 and S-64F firefighting.
Does not include AT-802 Firefighter.

Moved to User Support Hub since the search now returns aircraft variants/liveries that contain what’s entered in the filter, see Windowed Mode cuts aircraft from hangar letter W onward missing, fullscreen restores them - #21 by DementedCorn327

Also, the specific Zlin variant issue has been fixed: Zlin Savage Cub and Shock conflated in selection menu - #8 by DementedCorn327

As per the tests performed in SU4. Don’t know in which version those changes have been implemented.

This is still not the case for all aircraft (I’m testing this in su4 beta too)…if you type ATR in the search window you do not see the ATR 42 600. To find that you need to choose the “ATR 42 600 highline” version then go into the variants page and then select the ATR 42 600. Of course this maybe due to this ATR not being 2024 native?

Standard ATR 42 600 not showing in aircraft list (but the other ATRs do show up)?

Hey there! I’m not sure why, but the standard passenger version of the ATR 42-600 is not showing up in the aircraft selection: [image] As you can see, there’s the ATR 42-600 Highline, the ATR 42-600S (STOL), the ATR-72-600 standard and th 72 highline, but not the ATR 42-600 standard. I already tried enabling and disabling, renaming community just in case, but nothing happened. Any idea? Thanks as always! Seb

Search now returns results part of variants/liveries:

Seems to me a different issue than the one reported in this topic and specific to the ATR 3rd party addon. I don’t have this aircraft so cannot test. If any other comments regarding the ATR, please carry on the conversation in the topic you mentionned.

Well something (good) changed since the last time I accessed the ATR just yesterday! The filtering does now work correctly with the ATR - I can only assume a server side update was made to its configuration files.
