Aircraft that move on initial taxi and must stop are stuck and unable to continue taxiing

This problem exists after the install of msfs2020.

I will start a taxi fine, but once I come to a stop, I cannot get the aircraft to move in most cases, sometimes, it will move after applying full thrust. This problem is global; it affects ALL aircraft in the sim.

I have reviewed several threads, and I haven’t found.anything that will.
Thanks!

I had a similar problem last year IIRC. I had called for pushback (and the pushback was complete) but somehow I was still “attached” to the unit and it was holding on to the plane and I couldn’t move.

If that could be the case for you, make sure there are no “open” connections to a pushback tug. You won’t see it, but if you’re having the problem the tug will somehow still be attached to you.

This happens to me quite a lot. I find that if I apply the brakes with the brake pedal this unsticks the brakes and I can continue to taxi.

Yes I get the sticky brakes in multiple aircraft.

Yep same here …cycle the parking / toe brakes and generally releases the a/c to roll.
Last year I did re calibrate my pedals (in the PC …not the MSFS options) and that did cure a particular issue with the Commanche …maybe I need to do it again!

Hi @speedbird34 ,

Thank you for your post! Your topic has been moved to a sub-category of the User Support Hub

The General Discussion category is meant for discussions that fall outside of our other sub-categories.

If you would like other users to help you with an issue you are experiencing in the sim, consider these User Support Hub categories for your future post:

Aircraft & Systems
ATC, Traffic & NAVAIDs
Crashes (CTDs)
Hardware & Peripherals
Install, Performance & Graphics
Scenery & Airports
User Interface & Activities
Virtual Reality (VR)
Weather & Live Weather
Miscellaneous

Check that you have not inadvertently triggered “pause”. The pause button allows the engines to run and the wheels to spin, but won’t let the plane move.

Here is a FIX for this thread!

WOULD LIKE TO CREDIT @FL991R For fixing this for me! (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/u/FL991R)

I CAN TAXI AGAIN WITHOUT SCREAMING!
