Aircraft Tier List

I made a tier list on a website called tiermaker, if anyone is interested. It has images of all the aircraft included in the Premium Deluxe version of the game, the Mooney, and images taken from the marketplace of the C182 and Kitfox. Here is a link to the template. I made this because I searched for one and I could not find an existing tier list for MSFS 2020 aircraft. I would love to see screenshots of your rankings of all the aircraft. Enjoy!

Just curious - what are your rankings based on?

Not a fan of how any of the jets are currently modeled in MFS. However I haven’t tried the A320 mod, until then here’s my list lol.

Haha good question. I like the stable feel of a twin prop when hand flying, I also love the Mooney and the TBM is very powerful. I like steam gauges over Garmin avionics usually. My other criteria are things like responsiveness, uniqueness, complexity of the engine (a prop lever is nice, which is why the XCub goes up a rank), and uniqueness. I am not a fan of the A320 for example, it’s like trying to control a planet in orbit. And the A5 is slow and weak. Also I had to pay for the C152 Aerobat, which to my mind is indistinguishable from the C152.

I actually love the A5 myself. It’s perfect for touring new places because you have time to look around and actually see what’s happening, as opposed to everything zipping by before you get a chance to enjoy the scenery.

I use the Virus for touring new places, it is slow and floaty but it has a very open and light-filled feel because of the large windows.

I bought the mid-level pack, so I don’t have that one.

Based on the ones I have any real time flying. ~200 hours

I know people will be mad that the jets are in B tier, but the fuel bug and such makes me mad that they arent useful in OnAir.

The 172’s are great, but I like the other planes better… But 172 steamer probably belongs in S-tier.

Bonanza is low because of being misconfigured as underpowered. I installed the fix mod but havent used it much.

A-5 I just dont like, I really want a real seaplane. It feels underpowered and I really hate the styling of the panel. Also hate the avionics kit.

I stand by my top 4. I know the shock ultra is simple, but its great when im zipping in between buildings downtown and landing in city parks and stuff. Ever since I upgraded my rig its like a new game to get over 20FPS low alt in PG cities.
The Mooney is great. It really fills a gap in the roster.
TBM goes without saying.
And the XCub is great because it has a full avionics suite/autopilot and performs pretty similar to other cubs.

It is similar to the CTSL, but in my opinion it feels a bit better.
