  1. **Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? YES
  2. If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?** YES
  3. Description of the issue:
    The aircraft callsign that you set in the free flight settings, in the menu area, is not respected once your flight has been launched. Either the callsign written on the plane, either the identification number used by the ATC are different from what you set in the pre-flight menu.

How often does this occur for you? every time on sim load

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.

1.Start-up the game;
2.Enter in free flight mode
3.Set the callsign and identification number of the aircraft in “configure menu” of the selected aircraft
4.Launch the flight, and you will see the aircraft has the wrong callsign written, and also ATC is using the wrong identification number. It seems to be randomly assigned.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Regardless of what’s set as ATC callsign in the EFB, the ATC always calls by registration name on livery

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:

All aircraft tested (CubCrafters NX, Twin Otter, Caravan among others)

Yes. Not applicable, this is MSFS 2024. There are no mods nor add ons.

Every time.

  2. Fly and hear the ATC calling you

What’s the point of this page if changing the callsign doesn’t affect ATC? Changing it here and filing the flight plan should change your callsign via ATC in-flight

Same issue, would like to see this fixed.

After the flight is started, the callsign is seems to be overwritten in the freeflight aircraft configuration options as well.

Same issue.

Same problem here.
The aircraft identification number cannot be changed, it is not saved, I change it in the menu but when I start the flight the game gives me another random identification number, please solve it.

I have the same issue, ms-store. The issue also present in career, not only in free flight. Maybe it is a problem of the EFB system as in both free flight and career they are the same. Nor callsign, identification or anything saved for the flight.

Same Issue. It occurs to all flights.

Has anyone found a way around? I find that no matter what I enter in the callsign and flight number options, the ATC always calls me Alaska lol. Even if I do different liveries, small planes, etc. I can enter anything else and it will say Alaska.
