Airliners CAT3 Landing options

Hi all quick question
I have been playing with CAT3 landings using the FBY A320 and I can get this working but the results are variable. If the sim is busy with clouds & higher graphics setting the sim might CTD or odd things on the flight deck just won’t work. (this only happens with the FBY A320)
If I can keep my FPS > 35 then I stand a chance is having a good flight.
PS I only fly in VR

Question do we have any other airliners that can perform full CAT 3 autoland or am I in the land of payware?

Thanks

FENIX A320 will do it, but it is resource intensive.

PMDG 737s will autoland (with the right autopilot installed - you have options in those planes) as well. Less resource-intensive than both the FBW and Fenix A320s, too. The Maddog has an autoland function, but I don’t think it’s CAT III level.

If much clearer in my mind now.

The (free) A310 has the capability as well.

Thanks for that, it’s news to me I will find a tutorial on the A310 and give it a try.

There are official inibuilds A310 tutorials on youtube.

Several examples of ILS approaches (both manual and auto-land) can be found at the following locations:

New to Airliners - A310 | Part 2 …starts at 36:09
EFB & Approaches - A310 | Part 2 …starts at 10:57
Return to Airliners - A310 | Part 3 …descent prep starts at 6:40

Thank you for this information :ok_hand:

Thanks to all for the information.

I have found a bit of a workaround.
Played with
Headwindsim’s
https://flightsim.to/file/18198/airbus-a330-900neo-conversion
Frame rates look better than the FBW A320, and I can fly a CAT3 Autoland in bad weather.
Works for me anyway, worth a look.
Regards to all

This aircraft systems are forked from the great FBW A32NX project, version 0.7.4
