Hi, I’m new to the forum so thought I’d try it out. I purchased a very nice airport scenery for KTPF (Peter O’knight in Tampa, FL) in 2020 and it was beautiful. It’s not in my 2024, so I went back to the 2020 installation and searched for any files related to KTPF and copied them to the same place in 2024, however the airport still doesn’t show up as it should.
Another issue I’ve noticed is that the traffic pattern for 04 at KTPF in 2024 shows a left pattern but it is really a right pattern. Not sure who would address that in the default airport in 2024.
Hi, the 2024 marketplace is temporarily disabled so only aircraft (not sceneries / airports) which have been tested for compatibility from 2020 are available at the moment.
Also if you have bought items in the marketplace in 2020, its not a good idea to copy the files over as you could do more harm than good. Different if you buy items from the developer or the reputable addon sites which use the community folder,
Go into ‘Marketplace’ and then ‘My Library’. Look up KTPF and see what it says. If it simply says ‘Disabled’, you can click on ‘Enable’ at the bottom and restart the sim. Most of the airports I owned through Marketplace are now available but could still be some that are not. If it’s not, it will say Not Avaiable or something similar to that…
As far as the traffic pattern, that is usually corrected with 3rd party scenery so you may have to wait until you get your KTPF addon working…
Anyway I still remember when everyone, before FS2024 release, said that all 2020 sceneries would be compatible and portable to 2024… Like those who said that all the airplanes would be compatible… Just look at PMDG…
