Hi everyone ![]()
I’ve created this topic for community screenshot submissions for AirRhodessa’s PG Hangar.
Website: https://www.fspghangar.com
PG Hangar is a community-focused guide to photogrammetry and detailed scenery in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It helps simmers discover the best PG cities, National Parks, Scenic Hi-Res AOIs, Official POIs, handcrafted airports and other memorable places to explore in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
How to contribute
If you capture a screenshot that shows a location particularly well, please feel free to post it here.
Selected screenshots may be added to the PG Hangar website, including location cards, galleries, the PG Explorer Map and The Hangar’s Community Screenshots library.
Screenshots are currently welcome for:
- Rated PG Cities
- Tiny PG Cities of the USA
- Tiny PG Cities of the World
- National Parks and Scenic Hi-Res AOIs
- Official Microsoft/Asobo POIs
- Microsoft/Asobo Handcrafted Airports
- Sporting Venues
- Gold Standard and Mega Cities
- New World Update and City Update locations
- Any impressive PG area that makes you think: “People need to fly here!”
Extra screenshots are still welcome even when a location already has a gallery. Different viewpoints, altitudes, weather conditions, approaches and times of day can all help show a location at its best.
Please include
When posting, please provide as much of the following information as possible:
- Location name
- City, country or state where needed
- Whether it was captured in MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024
- Whether add-ons were being used
- A nearby airport or useful starting point
- A short description of what the screenshot shows
- The name or forum username you would like credited
Please also add the appropriate msfs-2020 or msfs-2024 tag to your post.
For PG Cities, one or two clear JPG screenshots is often enough. Ideally, it should show the city nicely from the air and give visitors a useful preview of what the photogrammetry looks like in the simulator.
Screenshot tips
- Clean scenic screenshots work best
- Please hide menus and simulator UI where possible
- Try to show the location or PG coverage clearly
- Skylines, rivers, bridges, mountains, approaches and landmarks are all welcome
- Interesting lighting, weather and times of day can add variety
- Please post a maximum of 10 screenshots per post, in line with forum guidelines
Priority locations still needing more screenshots
The following locations currently have only one screenshot and would especially benefit from additional images.
WU22 National Parks
- Death Valley National Park
- Glacier National Park
- Great Sand Dunes National Park
- Kings Canyon National Park
- Mesa Verde National Park
- Olympic National Park
- Petrified Forest National Park
- Pinnacles National Park
- Redwood National Park
- Saguaro National Park
- Wind Cave National Park
International parks and scenic areas
- Aoraki / Mount Cook National Park, New Zealand
- Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France
- Chubu-Sangaku National Park, Japan
- The Dolomites, Italy
- Écrins National Park, France
- Lucerne and Lake Constance, Switzerland and Austria
- Triglavski National Park, Slovenia
- Verdon Gorges, France
Please don’t worry if a location already appears elsewhere in this topic. Additional screenshots can still be useful, although completely new locations and galleries are currently the biggest help.
Permission and credit
By posting screenshots in this topic, you are confirming that selected images may be considered for use on the PG Hangar website.
Every accepted screenshot will remain credited to its contributor wherever possible. Please only submit screenshots that you captured yourself and are happy to share for this purpose.
Not every image will necessarily be used, but reactions and likes from the community will help show which screenshots people enjoy most.
Please note: This thread is marked as Solved so the accepted-answer post can be used as a clear, up-to-date checklist of the requested screenshots that have already been completed. That post will continue to be updated whenever further screenshot requests are fulfilled.
A huge thank-you to everyone who has already helped build the galleries. Your contributions have made a massive difference and have helped turn PG Hangar into a much more visual, useful and community-powered resource. ![]()
