Beautiful Alaska with beautiful winter views punctuated with soft natural lighting of a sun barely above the horizon. The cold is brutal and you have to be tough to live in a place like this. The hostile cold of this landscape evident throughout the flight with the better views of terrain obtained on the shaded side of the plane.
It seems the 737 has speed trim which is particularly active at high power settings and lower weights as we were. Hence why the trim was operating without pilot input despite autopilot not being engaged.
